Dear Travel Partner,

Thank you for your continued assistance in curbing NW/KL booking abuse. Since our Booking Abuse Policy was launched in February 2006, we have successfully addressed 47% of the subagent abuses. We want to improve this percentage in 2007, but to do this we must modify our policy. Thus, effective January 01, 2007, we ask that you wait 48 hours between booking and ticketing to minimize debit memo exposure. Our previous policy dictated a 24 hour wait between booking and ticketing. Tickets can be issued 0-48 hours after booking, but these records will not be screened by NW/KL and if booked incorrectly will be debited. Debit memos will continue to be assessed at $600 per booking even if the relative fare difference is higher. We appreciate your cooperation in assisting us to reduce booking abuse.
